Rachel & Brian — Minted

Rachel

and

Brian

Wedding Party

Mackenzie

Maid of Honor

Rachel & Mackenzie technically met in preschool but it was in 8th grade when they became close. They started horseback riding at the same barn, and from that moment on, they were basically inseparable. It's been almost 20 years of friendship at this point with no signs of slowing down. Though they haven't lived in the same city since high school (at times being separated by continents and oceans), their friendship has never wavered.

Joe

Best Man

I've been lucky enough to know Brian Alexander Ceppi since the 7th grade. Since we first met, there hasn't really been a time that I could remember where he wasn't there if I truly needed him. He's the epitome of a best friend. It's both my honor and privilege to be one of his best men on his special day.

Michael G.

Best Man

Brian and I first met back in elementary school when we were only seven years old, and we have been friends ever since. Our friendship has spanned over multiple decades, experiencing some of life’s biggest and most defining moments together, and now we get to celebrate another!

Alison

Bridesmaid

Alison is not only Rachel’s future sister-in-law, but also one of Rachel’s closest friends. From the moment they met at Brian’s 30th surprise birthday party (in which Rachel had no idea she was meeting her, along with fifteen of his closest friends), they formed a little/big sister relationship that only few future in-laws are lucky enough to have. Alison has since been Brian and Rachel’s third wheel on too many Firestone dates to count and was Cooper’s favorite dog sitter prior to her move to New York.

Ben T.

Groomsman

It has been an absolute pleasure becoming Brian’s friend and brother. Brian and I first met at a birthday party of Rachel’s, and he instantly became family. Brian has enhanced our lives, and I am forever grateful that he and Rachel found each other. Cheers to sharing many more amazing life experiences and adventures!

Adam

Groomsman

It feels like forever ago that Brian and I first met at Rachel’s birthday party in Marina Del Rey. He really ripped the Band-Aid off meeting the entire family at once. Since then I am delighted to say we have become close friends, and more importantly, brothers. I am so excited for Brian to officially join the family and look forward to a lifetime of great times ahead.

Kathryn

Bridesmaid

Kathryn and Rachel met their freshman year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. They have been inseparable since, spending whatever time they have visiting each other (Rachel frequents Oahu at least once a year to visit Kathryn). They have been a part of each others big and small life moments since 2011. Kathryn is grateful to have had so much time before she moved to Hawaii to spend time with Rachel and her family in San Diego and summers at the lake. The Talpalatsky’s are Kathryn’s second family. Kathryn is looking forward to visiting Rachel and Brian more in LA in 2024.

Brian

Groomsman

Brian has been a truly great friend, I had the pleasure of living with him for 3 years at University of Arizona. We’ve shared countless memories, and through life’s ups and downs he’s stood by me always offering an encouraging word. Even though we now live states apart, our daily conversations keep us connected. Nobody makes me laugh like Brian, he’s a true friend and treasured part of my life

Amanda

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Rachel met in vet school at Oregon State University. Their friendship really took off when Rachel invited Amanda to Oahu in 2019 for a girls trip where they bonded over scuba diving and poke bowls. Amanda currently lives on Oahu where she works as a vet. She credits Rachel for introducing her to the island and to Kat, who is now one of her close friends too. Amanda and Rachel love visiting each other whenever possible and support each other across the Pacific Ocean.

Ben Z.

Groomsman

Brian and I met studying abroad in the United Kingdom. We share a love for University of Arizona basketball and an ice cold Coors light. He’s someone I’d do anything for and am honored to be standing with him on his special day with the love of his life

Zandy

Bridesmaid

Rachel and Zandy met in vet school and became friends almost as quickly as their dogs became friends. From study dates to the rare night out to day trips to the beach, Rachel is one of the main reasons Zandy feels she survived vet school! During their fourth year of vet school, Covid started and Rachel was one of the only people Zandy was in contact with for months. Rachel made an emotional and scary time in Zandy’s life fun and is one of the only things that kept her sane during those months. One of Zandy’s favorite vet school memories is when, during their fourth year, they went camping with their friends Amanda and Sarah. They hiked, laughed, talked for hours, and strengthened a bond that they’re so grateful to have. Zandy is so incredibly thankful that their shared love for helping animals brought us together. Although their relationship is now long distance, Zandy always looks forward to coming and visiting her and Brian in LA, almost as much as she looks forward to eating at Cobi’s when she comes to LA. Zandy is so happy that Rachel has found the love of her life in Brian, and she can’t wait to be part of their special day.

Zach

Groomsman

Brian and I met during our Freshmen year in college when we both joined AEPi, but really became friends during our sophomore year. We spent countless hours not going to class together while playing video games at AEPi. The photo is from 2012 at The Henley Royal Regatta.

Marcy

Bridesmaid

Rachel and Marcy met in vet school, starting their journey at St Georges University and becoming  great friends while finishing up in their last year at Oregon State. During the pandemic, and start of their careers, they leaned on each other immensely. Their friendship became stronger even when living in different states. Eventually Marcy moved to California and into the same apartment complex. They have been neighbors ever since! Since then, they have experienced a lot of laughs, tears, and everything in between. Rachel and Marcy love to unwind together by taking their dogs to the beach, drinking wine, eating sushi, and watching trash TV.

Brett

Groomsman

Brian and I met when we were randomly assigned as roommates in Coventry during a study abroad trip. We’ve been best friends ever since.

Hailey

Bridesmaid

Hailey and Rachel met their first year of vet school when Rachel joined Hailey's group in anatomy class. That acquaintance-ship blossomed into the beautiful friendship they have today when they both made maybe not the smartest, but could be looked at as the best, decision to adopt PUPPIES during the middle of vet school. Their dogs quickly hit it off and the group of four never looked back! Rachel has been there for Hailey through ups and downs and has been one of the best people she goes to. Hailey's favorite memory, even though there’s a lot, was their camping trip in the middle of no where with no service, just under the stars. Hailey also cannot forget when she first met Brian and just knew this was going to be something so so special and something Rachel so much deserves! Hailey is so happy that Rachel and Brian have found each other.

Ryan

Groomsman

Brian and I met freshman year pledging the fraternity, and we quickly bonded over being the shortest guys in the pledge class. We shared a passion for sports, UofA basketball in particular, and he quickly became a best friend. My favorite college memories involve Brian trying to make someone laugh, and doing something stupid to achieve it. It never got old. Brian is an amazing guy and truly one of a kind. I couldn’t be happier that he found such an incredible girl like Rachel. Can’t wait to help you celebrate!!

Justin

Groomsman

I met Brian on the infamous London abroad trip in 2012 during the Olympics. It didn’t take long for us to become good friends. Fast forward 12 years later and I couldn’t be more happy that Brian and Rachel found each other. Cheers to the happy couple and a lifetime of happiness!

Max

Groomsman

I met Brian freshman year at the University of Arizona while rushing the same fraternity. Bonding over basketball and playing FIFA, we lived together for the rest of our time at college. Although he’s the world’s biggest troll, I’m honored to stand by his side at his wedding just like he did at mine.

Matt

Groomsman

Is it said that pledgeship is the most fun you never want to have again, but not for Brian. Luckily for me, as he was seemingly building equity within the fraternity by doing a second round of fun, I was able to meet one of my best friends. As I recall, we met on the first day of pledgeship (round two) outside our dorms on a blind date of sorts, set up by our sisters and walked to the frat house in our RVCA shirts. Since then and nearly 15 years later, we've spoken, texted, or shared memes nearly every day. He's caused me more pain from laughing than probably anyone I know and a long list of memories I won’t forget. I couldn't be happier to be a part of his and Rachel's big day!

Michael E.

Groomsman

I met Brian at UofA while studying abroad together. We stayed close over the years while commiserating over Arizona wins and losses. When I moved to LA, we became roommates. But our friendship really blossomed over 9 minutes of CPR. I’m honored to stand by him on his big day and the many years to follow.
